behind the brand
Founded by husband-and-wife duo Ben and Steph Reimer, Cream & Clay Co. was created from a shared love of meaningful design.
It all started in preparation for their wedding — Steph fell in love with designing and creating custom stationery and digital designs for their wedding website, and Ben brought them to life online through code. Enjoying the process so much, they combined their talents and passion through launching Cream & Clay Co. in late 2023.
a note from the founder
Growing up drawing and making things (stationery included), my love of art deepened as I learned about Renaissance masters and their multidisciplinary gifts. Inspired by this, I pursued a degree in biomedical engineering with the hope of creating designs that were not only useful, but deeply meaningful.
After a few years of this work, my career shifted into the digital design space as an outlet for my creative voice. I continued drawing on the side and was extremely fortunate to be mentored by the renowned figurative artist, Steve Huston.
At the same time, while preparing for my own wedding I rekindled my love of stationery. There’s nothing quite like holding a memory in your hands — from the colour of the ink to the texture of the paper, each detail is a tangible reminder of our day. I realized it was this feeling that I wanted to capture and share with others in my work.
With the unwavering support of my husband, Ben, Cream & Clay Co. was created to do just this. I’m truly honoured to guide you along your wedding journey, and to document your love story through an heirloom to hold for years to come.
